Ingredients for Islim Kebab Recipe with Meatballs
4 eggplants
Green pepper
Cherry tomato
For Meatballs;

400g minced meat
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 egg
3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
1 pinch of parsley
1 teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Half a teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
For Sauce;

1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of hot water

How to make?

-Let’s take minced meat, grated onion and garlic in a suitable mixing bowl for meatballs.
-Let’s add eggs, bread crumbs, finely chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, paprika and cumin and knead.
-After the materials are well combined with each other, let’s cut walnut-sized pieces and roll them in our hands and shape them by pressing on them.
-Let’s stretch the shaped meatballs and keep them aside.
-Let’s peel the eggplants and cut them into long strips and leave them in salted water for 15-20 minutes.
-Then let’s wash and dry it and fry it in the oil that we have heated.
-Take the fried eggplants on a paper towel lined plate. Let’s fry the meatballs lightly in the same oil.
-After the frying process is finished, let’s take 2 eggplants and put them in a plus shape and place 2 meatballs in the middle. If the meatballs are large, you can have one.
-Let’s combine the ends of the eggplant on the meatball and make it like a bundle.
-Let’s put pepper and sliced or cherry tomatoes on it and fasten it with a toothpick so that it does not open.
Let’s do all the eggplants in the same way and put them on the baking tray.
Take the tomato paste, salt and water in a separate bowl and mix. Let’s pour our sauce over the food.
Let’s cook our prepared dish in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 35 minutes until the tomatoes are golden brown.
